How many times have you switched back to analogues since you started vaping? Here are some quotes from a forum -
“Unfortunately I switch back every morning on my walk to work.”
“Every time I have a cig (very rare), I usually put it out right away. “”
“After about 5 days I tried to go a whole day without a cig and made it and that was it”
“For me, it was more helpful to transition on my own, letting myself make a decision made it easier because every time I have tried to switch, I tried to make myself feel bad about myself when I slipped up.”
“Been vaping for 9 months. Had a drag of an analogue in week 2 and never went back.”
Do any of these quotes resonate with you? No one says you have to stick to one or the other, no one says you can’t do both –but I got curious when reading one of the forums and found that everyone is slightly different. Some people switch to e-cigs straight away and never go back to tobacco cigarettes, finding the taste of them disgusting. Some like to mix and match, and keep it that way, and some find that they gradually transition from smoking to e-cigs without really noticing it.
We all know what we are using e-cigs for, and for each of us it is a personal decision. We are all using this alternative method of assuaging a nicotine craving because of how it makes us feel, for some it is purely an alternative, – to use as they want and when they want, for others they simply go off the taste of regular cigarettes There is no hard and fast rule that says once you start vaping, you are not allowed to smoke, or vice versa. It would just be interesting to know how many of you still switch, for whatever reason, and how often.
