Elf Bar, one of the leading vaping brands for disposable vapes, landed in the UK market in the 2021 with their single use vape – Elf Bar 600. Since then, the China based manufacturer, has launched multiple products ranging from – Elf Bar 600 V2 with QUAQ mesh technology to the latest addition, Elf Bar AF5000, that provides up to 5000 puffs.

Who Are Elf Bar?
Elf Bar is one of the most well-known vape brands around the world, the devices are manufactured in Shenzhen and Dongguan, China. The brand ownership recently moved away from iMiracle and onto a Hong Kong based business, HG Innovation. They launched in the UK in 2021 and quickly rose to become a popular vape brand thanks to their Elf Bar 600 disposable. The rise wasn’t all plain sailing, with the competition from GeekVape and their own take on a disposable – Geek bar.
Elf Bar have managed to capture the disposable market and the brand has grown significantly over the past few years to become a household name in the vaping community. With the impending ban on disposables (that our new government is yet to implement) Elf Bar launched rechargeable alternatives with the likes of the ELFA Pro bar and pre-filled pods. This year they introduced the Elf Bar AF5000 big puff device to the UK markets.

Disposable Ban And Alternatives
It’s important to note that as of 1st June 2025, disposable vapes such as the Elf Bar 600 and ELF Bar 600V2 will be banned in the UK. This includes the countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland[2].
If you're a regular disposable vaper, then now could be a good time to upgrade your disposable to more sustainable devices. Elf Bar do offer alternatives such as the ELFA Pro, but I recommend switching to refillable kits such as the VLTZ flex Pro Bar with a rechargeable battery and refillable pod.
