The renovation of the former Accrington Fire Station is nearing its final stages as the finishing touches start to take place. Thomas Smith, Architect at Peter Dickinson Architects explains that these “softer things are really important in making a building actually come to life”.

Fraser Cropper, UKVB Managing Director shares his excitement for the roof garden and the gym and explains the importance of recreational space to engage the right employees and to “provide a space that gives everybody a happy place to work.”

The building is optimised to satisfy UKVB’s immediate needs whilst also having extra capacity to meet expansion needs up to and beyond 5 years from now. The next step is to add the final touches which will include making the roof garden into a real showpiece.
