Rugby, motorsport and vaping are rarely uttered in the same sentence. However, Totally Wicked’s strong partnerships with Team BRIT and St Helens RFC has helped bring the three together. The Team BRIT logo is now present inside St Helens’ Totally Wicked Stadium and also enjoyed a cameo appearance on the Saints jersey.

The Totally Wicked Stadium features Team BRIT logo

Just in time for the season opener, a section of the Totally Wicked stadium had a slight revamp. A great opportunity to boost awareness became available in the South East corner of the stadium. An opportunity that fell deservedly into the hands of Team BRIT.

The sign reads “Team BRIT – The most inspirational team in motorsport”. This message will help to spread awareness of the great work that the team is doing. Tony Williams, Team BRIT driver and Saints fan is delighted by the new addition. Tony tweeted:

“This is somewhat Surreal. In my home town of St Helens. At the rugby club I moved here for Saints RLFC, my Racing Team Team BRIT is being proudly displayed and sponsored by Totally Wicked UK.”

St Helens in action against Catalan Dragons

St Helens RFC travelled to Perpignan last week to face the Catalan Dragons in what turned out to be a successful trip. Saints came out on top, winning 21-12 in this hard-fought game. Saints were not the only beneficiaries of this fixture, Team BRIT also had reason to be upbeat.

Due to European vaping regulation, the Team BRIT logo took Totally Wicked’s place on the right sleeve and back of the Saints’ jersey to create a unique playing strip. This was another great opportunity to give the inspirational team some more well-earned exposure.

Team BRIT Chairman Dave Player said: “We’re extremely grateful to Totally Wicked for their continued support.  It’s the backing we receive from our partners that keeps us on the race track, and helps us deliver our message to the motorsport industry and further afield, that disabled sports people can compete on a level playing field.

“Having our logo on St Helens’ team shirts for their French fixture is fantastic, as it introduces our team to a whole new community of people who we hope will be interested and inspired by our story.”

A look to the future

We look forward to seeing these Totally Wicked partnerships continue to flourish. Both teams are looking very positive in their respective fields. Saints have made a great start to the Betfred Super League Season with two wins out of two.

Team BRIT has recently announced that they will enter the realms of GT Racing. The team recently revealed the car it will be using… A freshly liveried, full-spec Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4.

These are exciting times for both Team BRIT and St Helens. We look forward to working closely with both partners over the coming year. There will hopefully be some memorable moments ahead of us which we look forward to sharing with you.
