The vaping world tends to get a lot of unwarranted criticism when it comes to info on making the switch to vaping.  Strict advertising regulations, coupled with the unfortunate prominence of fake news, expressing the positive effects of e-cigarettes to the wider audience can be a difficult task at times.

Role models and popular figures in the public eye play an important part in setting the example that e-cigarettes are a harm reduction tool and a healthier alternative to smoking.

Seeing their favourite celebrities vaping instead of smoking sends out a positive message to smokers who look up to these people and follow by example.

Previously, we informed you of 11 celebrities who gave vaping a good name which included huge names such as Leonardo Dicaprio, Johnny Depp and Katherine Heigl. We have some more familiar names to add to that list from a little closer to home and not only are they vaping but they have also become Totally Wicked customers.

Danny Dyer

It was Danny Dyer who we first noticed come through our doors in May, when the EastEnders star popped in to our Loughton store for an INTU Mini. Mr Dyer was kind enough to have his photo taken in the store and soon after featured in The Sun, using his device on the set of EastEnders.

Charlotte Crosby

It was then time for reality TV stars to hit the vaping scene as Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby visited one of our resellers at her local store in Gosworth. With Charlotte’s selection of successful workout DVDs it’s clear that her health is important to her so making the switch to vaping sends out a positive message to her fans.

Georgia Toffolo

From the Toon to Chelsea; Georgia Toffolo, more popularly known as ‘Toff’ on reality series Made in Chelsea came to Totally Wicked Hammersmith soon after. Toff looked thrilled with her new kit and kindly let us know she was pleased with her e-cig via Twitter.

These visits come amid the news that E-cigarettes have been shipped to Love Island. ITV2’s hit reality show has broadcast its contestants actively making the switch from tobacco cigarettes to cigarettes, another huge step in the right direction for the vaping industry and public health.

We hope that the stars enjoy making the switch and that the smokers who look up to these celebrities take a leaf out of their book and also make the switch!
