On May 4th, local businesses, schools and colleges in the local Blackburn community will sport the colours of Blackburn Rovers. A sea of blue and white will flood the town and will help to raise funds for the football club’s charity trust.
The funds raised will help to improve the lives of those who need it most in the local community so whether a Rovers fan or not, the Totally Wicked attire is blue and white for today.
Blackburn Jerseys are of course encouraged, however it seems the Preston and Burnley fans at TW couldn’t manage to get hold of a Rovers strip. Nevertheless, they’re supporting the cause and wearing blue and white for the day and we hope the funds we raise help to make a difference.
Each employee donates £1 and for each employee who donates, the company will donate a further £2. Other fund-raising activities will take place including football cards and guess the minute of the goal.
Blackburn Rovers recently sealed promotion to the Championship and they face Oxford united tomorrow where they can potentially clinch the League One title.
Many at Totally Wicked will be supporting the Blue and Whites and whether you’re a Rovers fan or not, this is a great cause to support. Show your support and tweet your pictures wearing Blue and White using #BlueAndWhiteDay.
