Sunday 27th July marked the day that many here at Totally Wicked had been dreading… It was time for the 10 mile slog through mud, water and gruelling obstacles, aptly named Tough Mudder!

Every Action Has Consequences

Employees from different departments came together to take on the challenge to raise money for local charity Every Action Has Consequences.

Muddy Humps at Tough Mudder

Every Action Has Consequences is a very worthwhile charity that educates young people about anger and how to deal with these emotions when in difficult situations.

Adam Rogers was punched outside a takeaway in Blackburn Town Centre and died when his head hit the pavement. One punch in the heat of the moment changed his parents, Pat and Dave’s lives forever. All of the amazing work that Pat & Dave Rogers do is not only exhausting, but expensive and provided free of charge to institutions. They therefore rely on donations and need your support.

The Tough Mudder Challenge

The week running up to Tough Mudder saw excitement turn into apprehension among the Totally Wicked participants as the trusty British Summer weather gave us relentless downpours and we received notices from Tough Mudder representatives stating the course would ‘one of the muddiest to date’.

Nevertheless, we all showed up for what turned out to be a fun filled but tiring day of: laughter, high spirits and a lot of mud. Ice baths, 10ft walls and electric shocks were just a few of the obstacles that we had to overcome but with team work, encouragement and determination all Totally Wicked participants made it to the finishing line.

Totally Wicked Completed Tough Mudder

There were a few aching bones and muscles at the Totally Wicked Head Office the following day but it was all worth it as we have managed to raise almost £3000 for Every Action Has Consequences and you can still donate here:
