Today we take a dive into the world of mini e-cigs and review one of the vapers favourites, the arc Mini.
But what is the arc Mini really like, we will take a deep dive and look into battery life, vape quality and durability. Is the arc Mini the next addition to your vape collection? Read below to find out.
E-cig Appearance
The arc Mini is exactly what you would expect from its name. It is mini. Comparing it to the arc GTi you can see the difference in size. Even though it is smaller and lighter than larger e-cigs, there is still a weight to it and you can feel the quality.
There are three buttons, a firing button and two adjustment buttons on the front of the e-cig, so it is comfortable to vape. The screen is circular and sits on the top of the vape. This displays all your vaping settings and is really easy to see as it sits on top of your e-cig and not at the side. The USB port is on the bottom, so you do have to lay the e-cig down to charge it, but to be honest as it is so small there is no where else to put it.
Also the most important bit for many is the colour options available and with the arc Mini, there are seven to choose from; Black, Blue, Brushed Steel, Baby Pink, Pink, Dazzling and Crackle.
Durability
There are a few things that make the arc Mini so durable for day to day life. One is the screen being sat on the top of the e-cig. There is no ‘structural weakness’ on the side of the device.
The second is the build quality. It can take every day knocks and scrapes with no problem and the overall quality feels outstanding. Being a vaper notorious for dropping e-cigs, I have pitched this onto the floor by accident a few times and it has survived.
Vape Quality
How does the arc Mini vape? Well is depends what type off vaper you are to be honest.
The tank on the kit is the CS Micro Tank, this takes CS Atomizer Heads and there are a few different resistances to choose from. The CS Atomizer Heads are some of our most popular for a reason. They last well and give great flavour from your e-liquid. But, the arc Mini is not compatible with sub-ohm coils. So you can only use Atomizer Heads with a resistance of above 1.0ohm. This does limit the type of vaper that can use the arc Mini, anyone who wants a lot of power or vapour production cannot achieve this with the arc Mini.
Speaking of power, the arc Mini can output up to 20W and for a really tiny e-cig this is actually great. No more is needed because only high resistance coils can be used, so not much power is needed. But again, this is another limiting factor for high power vapers.
Anyone who uses higher resistance coils or is not after a vaping experience that needs high power and larger clouds of vaper, the arc Mini is everything you need.
arc Mini Battery Life
This is a small e-cig, so the battery is also smaller than that of larger e-cigs. It has a capacity of 1050mAh, which considering its size is actually quite good. I personally can get just shy of a day out of the battery before I need to recharge it.
One bonus of only being able to use the arc Mini with higher resistance Atomizer Heads is that they don’t run your battery down any where near as fast as their sub-ohm counterparts.
New vapers or those who don’t heavily vape will be just fine with the arc Mini.
