While we can\u2019t always count on sun in this country, we will have hot spells like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-62217282\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this week&#8217;s heatwave<\/a>, so it\u2019s important to make sure you\u2019re vape prepared.&nbsp;Read on for our top summer vaping tips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s nothing better than a vape in the sun, however does the heat have a direct impact on your vape set up? In short, yes it can but as long as you follow these quick tips you can cool off with that iced e-liquid with peace of mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"summer-vaping-tip-the-sun-is-not-your-vapes-friend\">Summer vaping tip &#8211; the sun is not your vapes friend<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Although you might be happy to bake in the sun all day, your vape certainly isn\u2019t. High temperatures and direct sun have negative effects on your vape.&nbsp;.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First up, direct sunlight can heat up the e-liquid in your vape tank and make it thinner. This thinner e-liquid can then run out of your tank. No one wants a leaky tank.&nbsp;&nbsp;Second, vape batteries. No battery performs well when exposed to extremes of temperature. Your vape might have a built in battery, but it can still be affected by the summer sun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep your vape in a cool, shady area to keep it in tip top shape. If you are outside, cover it with a towel or blanket, or keep it in a bag.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"our-top-tip-don-t-leave-your-vape-in-hot-cars\">Our top tip  &#8211; Don\u2019t leave your vape in hot cars<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I had a friend contact me to tell me her husband\u2019s vape kept leaking. I went through all the regular trouble shooting and couldn\u2019t figure it out. It was only later that he told me, he leaves his vape in the car, led down all day while he is at work. See above, it\u2019s sat in direct sun, the e-liquid is getting heated up and becomes thinner, it leaks out of the tank.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you leave a vape in the car, keep it in the glove compartment or covered away from the sun.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"stock-up-on-vaping-supplies-for-summer\">Stock up on vaping supplies for summer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Picture the scene, you are relaxing on a Sunday afternoon in your recliner, you go to vape and realise your tank has cracked! The last thing you want is to be caught out without spares, with no vape shops open to get sorted, talk about a ruined weekend.
