- Everyday usability: Explain how it feels to use this device on the daily, and how it’s features hold up.
- My recommendation: Would I recommend the Hayati Pro Max Plus? The short answer is yes! But read on to find out why.
The Hayati Pro Max Plus is a disposable-style vape designed to deliver a consistent mouth-to-lung experience in a rechargeable format. Its form factor and operation will be familiar to those of you accustomed to disposable devices, while offering a more considered build intended for regular use.
The device prioritises simplicity, with a straightforward, beginner-friendly design that requires minimal setup. This approach supports ease of use while maintaining consistent performance throughout the life of the pod. Overall, the Hayati Pro Max Plus is positioned as a low-maintenance option if you're seeking a reliable vaping experience without unnecessary complexity.

- Slimline design
- High capacity 20ml pod (6000 puffs)
- LCD screen displaying battery percentage
- Lightweight
- Easy to remove (but secure) pod
- 850mAh rechargeable battery
First Impressions
The Pro Max Plus has a reasonable weight to it, but it doesn’t feel so heavy as to be a nuisance. The device comes pre-packaged with a pod that contains both a coil and 20ml of your choice of flavour, meaning you don't have to worry about fiddling with coils when it's time for a change. Simply remove and throw (into a recycling bin preferably, not just anywhere).
My particular pre-filled pod flavour is Blue Razz GB, meaning the device features a lovely two-tone blue and pink design. With a discreet informational display featured on the face of the battery. Hayati has seemingly taken it back to basics, as the display doesn't overwhelm you with clutter. It simply displays the battery charge level, and an animated Hayati logo when you inhale on the device.
Speaking of first impressions, what do you get in the box?
Holding the Hayati pro plus max is tangibly natural, it's ergonomic and feels comfortable in the hand. It's constructed well, and is notably weighty to indicate quality construction. Thankfully, I didn't drop this one, so I cannot speak to its durability, though it seems it can easily take the weathering of daily life.
Getting started with the Hayati Pro Max Plus
This device is derived from disposable vapes (which as we know are now banned in the UK), in both design and simplicity. To attach the pod to the battery, you just need to line up the two arrow markings on each component and press them together (ensuring you take off the protective film on the bottom of the pod first).
To activate the vape, all you need to do is inhale on the mouthpiece. You'll instantly notice the hit of flavour, very reminiscent of the now banned disposables.
A quick side note, if all you're after is the flavour of disposable vapes, we manufactured the VLTZ range of e-liquid. Designed specifically to mimic the intense flavour. Making the switch can save you money over the pre-filed configuration.
There's no need to prime the coil of a pre-filled vape kit, as the coil has been soaking since the product was manufactured – this is pretty universal across all pre-filled pods. As you may know, we recommend priming any coil for three to five minutes before use.
You cannot manually turn the Hayati Pro Max Plus off with a button because it’s an auto-drawn, button-free device that activates by inhaling. It's essentially off when you're not physically using it.
Using the Hayati Pro Max Plus
There's not much to discuss here, as the device itself is incredibly simplistic, and that plays to its strengths. As I’ve mentioned, it's a draw activated device, so all you need to do is inhale to activate the device. The pull is smooth and consistent in a flow sense, but cannot be adjusted due to the absence of any sort of airflow adjuster.
Airflow comes from the bottom of the battery, at the very base of the device. so be careful when using it to not block the inlets – though I’d imagine you'd know about it if you did.
Battery Life
Battery life in the Hayati Pro Max plus is reasonable, I can just about get a full day and a half's use out of it. However, I am by no means the biggest vaper in the world. The actual battery capacity is 850mAh, so if you vape a lot, and need your device to last you all day, you might be better off with something that brings a little more longevity like the VLTZ Max 12 with a powerful 1350mAh battery.
At least you'll never be left questioning how much battery life you have remaining. The sole purpose of the in-built display is to display the device’s remaining battery percentage.
Carrying the device
The Pro Max Plus is very unintrusive to carry around, it's a slim shape that fits comfortably in any pocket without feeling too cumbersome. The assembled kit has a nice weight to it, but as I mentioned before, not so much as to feel like you're carrying around a brick. Considering the pod boasts a 20ml capacity, the kit is very compact. True what they say about big things coming in small packages.
Would I recommend the Hayati Pro Max Plus?
If you miss disposable flavour but don't want to keep binning batteries, the Hayatir Pro Max Plus does a solid job. It's not trying to reinvent vaping – it just works. Every pull tasted the same, which I didn't expect from something this simple. It's draw-activated, and requires virtually no setup thanks to its prefilled 2ml pod and built-in coil.
The slim, lightweight design makes it easy to carry, while the LCD screen clearly displays battery percentage without unnecessary clutter. Assembly is simple, the device feels well-built, and flavour delivery is immediate and reminiscent of now-banned disposables – which will appeal to many.
Battery life (850mAh) is enough for moderate use across a day, though heavier vapers may need to recharge. There's no airflow adjustment, but the draw is smooth and reliable.
Overall, if you want a low-maintenance, disposable-style vape with solid flavour and a more premium feel, the Hayati Pro Max Plus is an easy recommendation.
