Who Owns Lost Mary?
Lost Mary is a brand of vape by Elf Bar. After a tiny bit of digging, I discovered that Lost Mary vapes are made in China - No.1201, Building 1, Wanting Building, Laodong Community, Xixang Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, China – to be exact.
A new vape
Lost Mary was introduced in April 2022, so these vapes are actually fairly new which makes their popularity even more impressive. The very first model was the BM600 which introduced the Lost Mary signature box-shape.
Meaning Behind the Name
If you head on over to the Lost Mary website, you'll see some pretty descriptive language around Lost Mary's ethos. I've waded through it all to provide a more concise breakdown of how Lost Mary got its name. According to the site, the name is all about helping people return to happy place if they ever feel lost. They also say:
"There is no reason to be lost because life is awesome."
So, it appears that the name actually refers to the opposite of what the company want you to feel.
The company also has three pillars upon which its brand is built:
- Value - this element features quality, fashion, and somewhat, inexplicably "merry"
- Mission - the site declares their mission is to help vapers discover joy
- Vision - the Lost Mary vision is to be "the most distinctive vaping brand..."

Why does Totally Wicked sell only six models of Lost Mary?
You may be wondering why we choose to stock these six specific devices when Lost Mary has so many more in their collection. The simple answer is that the BM6000, DM600 X2, Tappo, QM600, BM600, B600S adhere to specific regulations whereas the others (apart from the AM600) don't. Legally, vape tanks and pods in the UK can contain a maximum of 2ml e-liquid and 2% nicotine content. Other countries may have different rules and regulations when it comes to vapes, including nicotine content. Therefore the Lost Mary vapes that aren't compliant here, may well be perfectly legal elsewhere.
It's also very important to realise that in purchasing vapes that aren't compliant with UK laws, you're contributing to illegal activity. Furthermore, this illegal activity is often associated with criminal groups that will most likely be using profits from illegal sales to fund other types of criminal activities.
We only sell legal vapes and vaping products that meet the safety and quality standards outlined in the TPD regulations - and rightly so!
Although the AM600 Lost Mary is compliant, we choose to stock the most popular devices in the range which are the QM600, BM600, and BM600S.
BM600
The BM600 boasts the familiar box shape for which Lost Mary is known. These 600 puffs, prefilled disposables contain 2ml nicotine salt e-liquid and a built-in battery. The small vapes are just 66mm x 35mm x 16mm and are really convenient, dinky devices. There are 34 e-liquid flavours available in the BM600, including Mad Blue, Cherry Ice, Pineapple Ice, and Watermelon Ice. The BM600 is a great choice for Mouth to Lung (MTL) vapers as it delivers that throat hit many vapers enjoy.
BM600S
The BM600S may look similar to the BM600, but there's one main difference - the QUAQ mesh coil. This mesh coil technology allows for improved coil performance which results in better flavour. The coil design also means there's less e-liquid waste. Each Lost Mary BM600S is prefilled with 20mg of salt nicotine e-liquid. Like its predecessor the BM600S is a great choice for MTL vapers, especially if you've just quit smoking and started vaping. The BM600S is the same size as the original and is therefore extremely portable.
There are eight flavours in total in the BM600S range, and we stock the following four:
BM6000
The BM6000 (not to be confused with the BM600) is what is known as a “Big Puff Vape”. A 6000 puff vape, the Lost Mary BM6000 features an innovative design which involves attaching a 10ml bottle to the rechargeable device, which has a TPD compliant 2ml refillable pod attached. If you’re after a big puff e-cig, this is one to consider.
QM600
The QM600 takes a completely different approach to design from the original Lost Mary. Although similar to a vape pen, the QM600 has a flattened shape rather than being cylindrical.
Tappo
The Tappo maintains it’s familiar bottle shape design. However, this is considered to be a more sustainable, cost-effective device as it uses a prefilled pod system.
DM600 X2
This innovative Lost Mary disposable provides up to 1200 puffs thanks to the provision of two prefilled pods to use with the 850mAh precharged battery. Unlike single use disposables, this vape can last twice as long. Rather than throwing away the device after the first pod, simply pop in another and continue vaping.
Lost Mary Design
In line with their vision to be the most distinctive vaping brand, Lost Mary has created a range of eye-catching vapes. Although the collection does include vape pens, the majority of the range are the bottle-shaped design with which the brand is most associated. As well as numerous flavour options, the vapes come in an assortment of colours, matching these flavours. These play into the brand's first pillar (remember those?), which focuses on fashion and style. Perhaps this is where the reference to merry comes in, as the colour of the vapes certainly aren't muted.
How do You Use a Lost Mary?
These types of vapes are draw-activated. You simply draw in on the device to start vaping. This is often seen as the simplest way to vape as you don't need to adjust any settings before you begin to vape.
Can Lost Marys be refilled or recharged?
As prefilled disposables, they don't require refilling with e-liquid and can simply be disposed of responsibly once finished. When the vape is completely used, drop it into your local Totally Wicked store to be recycled. You can also dispose of them at your nearest recycling centre. As a traditional disposable it also isn't rechargeable and is single use only.
How long do they last?
A disposable vape such as this can last up to 600 puffs. This can mean one disposable will last all day, or you may find you use more than one during the day. It depends entirely on your own vaping habits. For me, one Lost Mary, no matter which type, will usually last me an entire day.
What Are the Most Popular Lost Mary Flavours?
People have their own opinions about what flavour is the best. However, having looked at out best-selling Lost Mary flavours, I'm able to give you a run down of the ten best flavours, according to what our customers prefer.
9 Blue Razz Cherry
Whereas the previous spot is taken by a simple solo flavour, the next, Blue Razz Cherry blends several. This vape flavour combines the taste of lemonade, raspberries, and cherry.
7 Double Apple
At seven, it appears people really like the taste of apple in a vape. So much so that they want to double up on that flavour with Lost Mary Double Apple.
6 Triple Mango
Sixth on the list isn't just doubled, it's tripled! Triple Mango bags the number six spot.
5 Cherry Ice
Cherry Ice comes in at number five in our list of most popular Lost Mary flavours. This provides the taste of cherries with a menthol finish.
4 Blueberry Sour Raspberry
It seems you like a little bit of sour among those fruit flavours, which is why Blueberry Sour Raspberry is edging towards the top spot.
2 Menthol
You can't beat a minty vape. Well, you can apparently, as Menthol, although extremely popular, takes second place.
What Kind of Vapers Like Lost Mary?
If you're yet try this particular brand of vape, you may be wondering why you should. Here's my run down of what kind of vapers would appreciate Lost Marys.
New Vapers
When you're switching from smoking to vaping, Lost Mary vapes are a great choice. Quitting smoking can be a difficult process, so choosing a vape that's easy to use and fuss-free like these devices could help you keep off the cigs. These disposables also deliver a throat hit similar to that experienced while smoking. The range of fruity and sweet flavours are also a plus, as many ex-smokers don't want to be reminded of the taste of tobacco when trying to quit.
Vapers who enjoy strong flavours
Lost Mary is known for delivering intense flavours. Furthermore, disposables with QUAQ coil technology, such as the QM600 and BM600S, deliver a consistently strong flavour until the very end.
Vapers looking for a back-up device
You don't always want to take out your kit. If you're on a night out or on holiday you may want a more portable vape that you're not too bothered about misplacing.
Are Lost Mary Vapes Dangerous?
Genuine Lost Mary disposables adhere to TPD regulations and have to meet stringent safety guidelines.
Now, you may be concerned about using vapes to quit smoking because of misinformation you've read or heard in the media. The IBVTA has launched a campaign that dispels vaping myths and misinformation. The NHS has published some helpful information in support of using vapes to quit smoking. The NHS website states:
"Nicotine vaping is not risk-free, but it is substantially less harmful than smoking."
Avoiding Fake Lost Mary Vapes
It's important to ensure the Lost Mary you buy is genuine. The easiest way to do this is to purchase your device from a reputable retailer. If you can't determine the origin of your disposable you will want to be wary.
Another element to consider is the appearance of the vape. Fake vapes are often very crudely made and so will look different from the real thing. They can also malfunction or taste "off".
Lost Mary provides a verification service that can help to determine whether or not the device is a fake vape or genuine. Simply visit their website and enter the 18-digit code or scan the QR code on the side of the pack to verify.
How Much are Lost Mary Vapes?
Lost Mary vapes are £4.99 at Totally Wicked. However, you can get them for as little as £3.75 per disposable when you purchase them as part of a disposable vape subscription. When bought as part of the Mix & Match 5 for £20 offer, these vapes are £4 each.
