Disposable Vapes

The short answer is, really, really easily. There’s nothing to prepare or maintain with a disposable vape.

Remove your vape pen from the box and foil packet, remove any rubber bungs from the top or bottom of the disposable. Then inhale to activate it.

That’s it. You don’t need to fill it with e-liquid, you don’t need to charge the battery or change the vape coil. You don’t even need to press a button.

How long a disposable vape pen lasts depends on how much e-liquid it contains, how big the battery is and how you vape. Most disposable vapes, such as Elf Bars are advertised as having approximately 600 puffs per vape. This means a disposable vape can last all day, and perhaps even longer depending on personal use.

Disposable vape pens contain between 1.2ml and 2ml of e-liquid, they have batteries between 280mAh and 400mAh. Either the e-liquid will run dry or the battery will run out of charge and stop working. A night out - You might have invested to get your perfect vape set up and you don’t want to be taking that out for a night. A disposable is perfect for this, easily fits in your pocket, great nicotine delivery and you won’t stress too much if you lose it.

A day out / holiday - You are most likely taking your vape with you. But if you are away from your vaping supplies and your battery dies, your coil needs changing or you run out of e-liquid, a disposable vape is a great back up.

A first e-cig - If you’re a smoker who has toyed with the idea of vaping, but you aren’t sure it will work for you, a disposable vape is a great intro to vaping.

Pros and Cons of disposable vapes.

As with any e-cig, there are pros and cons of disposable vape kits. The pros are that they can be used straight out of the box, they don't reuire any maintenance, and they are extremely portable. The downside is that long-term they aren't cost-effective. You could also find that the flavours are limited. Finally, although very easy to use, disposables don't provide a way of tailoring your vaping experience.

All e-liquids have an expiration date, including the e-liquids in disposable vapes. The expiry date for unused disposable vapes is usually between one or two years from the date of manufacture. The shelf-life of a disposable vape can also depend on whether or not the vape has been stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. We advise that you never use a disposable vape past the recommended expiry date on the packaging. As well as the e-liquid expiration date, you’ll need to consider the battery life of a disposable vape. As this can vary depending on the brand of disposables you purchase, it’s always best to check the packaging for the individual product’s expiry date.

In the UK, disposable vapes, vape kits, e-liquids, and other vaping products can be legally sold to adults aged 18 and over. Totally Wicked operates a strict age verification process when selling any vaping products, including disposable vapes, both in stores and online. Each Totally Wicked retail store operates a challenge 25 policy. This means that if we suspect you to be under the age of 25, we will request a legitimate form of age-confirming I.D before any sale can take place. The same precautions are taken with any suspected attempts of “proxy selling” of disposable vapes or any other vaping products in our stores.

Each disposable should have the equivalent puffs on the box. As an example, the Elf Bar disposable vape can last on average for up to 600 puffs. Some vapers may get less than 600 if they are a heavier vaper, some people will get more than 600.

The best way to dispose of a disposable vape is to take it to your nearest Totally Wicked store to be recycled. You can also take vapes to your nearest electrical device recycling centre. Never put vapes in a domestic or public bin as they contain batteries.
