Totally Wicked are delighted to share the news that we have extended our partnership as principal sponsor of St.Helens R.F.C. for a further 3 years.
This new agreement extends our stadium naming rights until the end of the 2025 season as the 'Totally Wicked Stadium‘. It will also mark 13 continuous years of Totally Wicked sponsorship of the club.
Totally Wicked also retain sponsorship of The North stand, and our logo will continue to be featured on both the home and away shirts of the Men's and Women's kits.
Smoking Rates in St Helens drop for the 7th year running
Totally Wicked are committed to supporting fans that wish to switch from smoking to a significantly less harmful alternative. In 2015, 20.3% of those ages 18 and over in St Helens smoked. Stats show that smoking rates have fallen in the are every year since then.
The office for National Statistics estimates 13% of adults in the region smoked in 2019. This was further down from 15.8% in 2018. This had dropped even further to 10.9% in the most recent government data for 2020. St Helens was named among the top 10 UK areas with highest quit smoking rates in 2021.
Local Stop Smoking Service Success
Nearly two thirds of people in St Helens managed to quit successfully last year using their Local Stop Smoking Service. 855 people signed up with their Local Stop Smoking Service in the 12 months from April 2020 to March 2021. They set themselves a date to quit and according to data from NHS England, 559 of them had given up at follow up meetings four weeks later. That’s 65%, beating the national average of 59%. The average for the North West was 58%.

Our charity, Saints Community Development Foundation is focussed on providing people with a healthier lifestyle and these are the same aims of Totally Wicked. The statistics don't lie and the reduction of smokers in St Helens since Totally Wicked have come on board with us here in St Helens is fantastic to see. We are proud to have them as our principle partner for at least another three years."
