Totally Wicked Red Label e-liquid is celebrating it's 10-year anniversary. Over the past decade, this esteemed e-liquid range has evolved and grown. It is now 60 flavours strong and remains as popular as ever. Let's take a trip down memory lane and relive some of the key moments in Red Label's history.
2013 - Where it all began

Red Label launched in February 2013 and included favourites such as Menthol, Blackcurrant and Strawberry. The range initially included 26 flavours, all with a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. The flavours were formulated as an all day vape to suit all types of vapers, and proved to be an instant hit.
2014 - Red Label goes retro
The first additions make their way into the Red Label range in the form of six retro classics. This took the range to 32 flavours and gave vapers a unique, sweet flavour experience. Nine years later, all six of these e-liquids, including Pear Drops and Sherbet Lemon are still sold in their thousands.

2015 - It's time for expansion

2015 is undoubtedly one of the most important years in Red Label's history. A state-of-the-art e-liquid facility opens at Totally Wicked HQ in Blackburn. Fitted with the latest technology, this production facility put Red Label and Totally Wicked at the very forefront of the industry.
Later in the year, the first of the satirical Election ranges was launched. Running alongside the general election, five flavours would battle it out to take the top spot in the polls. It was David Cameron's Eton Mess who took the spot, coinciding with Mr. Cameron winning the political race. The Prime Minister wouldn't keep his position for long but Eton Mess has kept its place in Red Label to this day.
2016 - Red Label gets Iced

Six icy flavours were launched but Red Label remained one of the hottest e-liquids on the market. Blackcurrant, Blueberry, Lemon/Lime, Orange, Raspberry, and Strawberry were all given a cool kick. The six additions were instant favourites for vapers nationwide. Iced Blackcurrant still sits firmly at the top of the Red Label popularity charts!
The Totally Wicked chemists weren't done yet. In the same year, Red Label Heisen-white launched. This concoction of berries, menthol, and aniseed soon established itself as a mainstay in the range.
2017 - It's all just politics

The government called a snap election… With just a few weeks' notice, Totally Wicked turned around five politically apt flavours. Corbyn's Strawberry Jam was the vaper's favourite but no such luck for Jeremy and the Labour party in the political polls.
The politics didn't stop there. May 2017 would see the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations (TRPR) come into force. This regulation would be sector changing but Totally Wicked and Red Label remained resilient. Key legislative changes included a maximum e-liquid bottle size of 10ml, a maximum tank capacity of 2ml ,and a maximum nicotine content of 2.0%. This marked the end of 20ml and 30ml bottles, as they would be phased out by the end of the year. However, as the bottle size got smaller, the brand continued to grow.
2018 - Four new Summer flavours
Fruit Fusion, Orange & Lime Fizz, Strawberry Crush, and Tropical Breeze enter the fray. These additions to the range took the compliment of flavours above the 50-mark. Beyond reaching this milestone, the vivid summer flavour profiles also showcased the continuous progression in Totally Wicked's e-liquid manufacturing quality.

2019 - Pigs in Blankets e-liquid anyone?

2019 saw two Limited Edition sub-ranges. As is tradition, five 'Totally Elected' e-liquids flavours ran alongside the General Election. 'Sturgeon's Girders' proved to be the most popular flavour and remains in the Red Label as 'Scottish Soda'.
Four further Limited Edition flavours would also be available towards the end of the year. This quartet followed a festive theme. Candy Cane and Mulled Wine were a nice festive treat for some vapers. The jury was out on Mince Pies, but it was the final flavour that caused a stir... Pigs in Blankets. This was a flavour that most were glad to see the back of, but fun while it lasted. Needless to say, Pig in Blankets didn't make it into the core range.
2020 - Red Label has a makeover
Seven years into Red Label's life, it was time for a makeover. Subtle changes to the styling of the bottle and packaging gave the range a classy new look. The premium e-liquid within the bottle would remain the same, much to the relief of the Red Label faithful.

2021 - Lockdown can't stop Red label
Throughout large parts of 2021, Covid restrictions forced all Totally Wicked stores to close their doors. Thankfully for vapers, Red Label was still available through numerous channels. Hundreds of Euro Garages forecourts, and of course the Totally Wicked website sell Red Label. It is also available as part of our e-liquid subscription.
2022 - Vote for your 'Flavourite'

Four flavours were temporarily added to Red Label but only two would survive. Mango Lychee, Peach, Pear, and Raspberry Apple battled it out. Which two would survive? That decision was down to you. Throughout December, vapers voted for their 'flavourite'. The two with the most votes would earn a permanent spot in the esteemed Red Label range.
Present Day - The winning flavours are...

We counted the votes over the festive break. Raspberry Apple was the clear winner, but who would take that all-important second spot? It was neck and neck between Mango Lychee and Peach but Mango Lychee would just pip the competition for the runner-up spot. These two new flavours are now available in-store and online. Keep an eye out for the celebratory gold packaging!
So, there you have it, a decade of Red Label. There are now a whopping 60 flavours available, all meeting the high-quality standards we strive for. We look forward to the next 10 years and you will have to wait and see what Red Label has in store. More flavours are a given, but will there be any other twists and turns down the way?
