Looks
The Skope Air is what you would call a traditional ‘pen style’ vape kit. This means that it is thinner and a different shape, the complete opposite to the box mod style that have been popular for the past few years. This is good for a few reasons, but the main one is that this will feel closer to a cigarette experience.
There are three colours to choose from; blue, black and grey. A plastic cartridge sits at the top of the e-cig which is easy to see through and view your remaining e-liquid level. The charging port is at the bottom of the device. There is one button in the middle that has an LED light on it, this also indicates current battery charge. The ridges that run along the side of the device means easy grip. This is a sleek looking vape pod.
Durability
The Skope Air is a high quality e-cig starter kit. It has a metal body and plastic pod. You don’t need to worry about cracking the glass if it takes a knock.
Even with a full tank of e-liquid this kit remains nice and light. This means it’s portable and great for vaping all day. Every part of the kit fits snugly together and there are no rattles or knocks. This is a vape pod that will fit together, work and take the rigours of daily life.
Skope Air Vape Quality
What makes an e-cig starter kit great? Ease of use, simple maintenance and a device that just vapes well, the Skope Air has these down to a tee.
There are two options for vaping, you can press the button or just inhale on the device. The EN vape coils that this pod uses have a stainless steel coil for exceptional flavour and life span, they also work in conjunction with the Smart Coil Protection (SCP).
SCP is a technology incorporated into the Skope Air battery. An intelligent electronic sensor detects when the e-liquid level in the pod is too low. This shuts off the battery and stops you from experiencing a dry hit or burning out your coil prematurely. Keep your e-liquid level above the inlet holes of the atomizer head. If you are experiencing a cut off due to SCP all the time, this is an indicator that you need to fit a new vape coil.
Don’t worry about airflow control either, as there are two options for you. To adjust the airflow, simply remove the plastic cartridge and turn it 180 degrees before replacing it.
All of these features add up to make a great vaping experience, full of flavour and with decent clouds of vapour.
Skope Air Battery Life
An 800mAh battery should last most new vapers up to a full day before needing to be recharged, but if you are a heavier smoker or a regular vaper who vapes all day, it might require a charge in the evening.
But worry not, the Skope Air has USB-C 2A fast charge, your battery can go from empty to full in less than 30 minutes.
