- Convenient vapes for a night out
- Small and portable vapes
- Vapes that last for a weekend away
Planning a night out and that familiar question pops into your head: which vape should I bring? It happens to me all the time! Sometimes I want something small and discreet, other times I need a battery that can keep up with me all night. If you’re anything like me, you’ll appreciate this guide to the best vapes for a night on the town.
Convenient Vapes for A Night Out
Convenience is important to me, and it’s largely tipped to be the reason behind the rise in disposable vapes over the past few years. I can see why they’ve become so popular with their convenient design; simply remove the packaging and rubber seals and you’re ready to vape. The problem is, once it’s finished, some vapers simply throw them on the street or in general waste (it's also known that some throw them down the toilet) when they should be disposed of correctly. This has led to the announcement of the disposable vape ban on 1st June 2025[i].
VLTZ-X Spin 4 in 1 Vape
When planning a night out, rechargeable vapes should be at the top of your agenda. The VLTZ X Spin is a new device that has hit the market in the 4-in-1 vape category. It’s like having over six disposables in a single vape. The bundle comes with four flavoured pods, with each pre-filled pod capable of producing up to 1,000 puffs – that’s a total of 4,000 puffs from one device! The battery is rechargeable and reusable, meaning you only need to replenish your pods once they’re empty. The pre-filled pods make this vape just as easy to set up and use as disposables.
Flex Pro Pre-filled
Another convenient option is the hugely popular Flex Pro Bar with pre-filled pods. These match the convenience of big puff vapes, with the added benefit of more flavour options – over 25 to choose from! A single pod usually lasts up to a day or longer, so making it through a night out with friends is no problem. Similar to its bigger puff alternative, the Flex Pro is rechargeable and reusable, with the Flex Pro Box housing a slightly larger battery than the Flex Pro Bar. Both have big enough batteries that it's worth popping a spare pod in your bag or pocket just in case a pod runs dry. The battery will keep going for a while on a second pod.
Portable Vapes for A Night Out
If you’re like me and don’t fancy carrying a bulky vape around in your pockets, it’s best to go for something smaller and sleeker. Choosing the ultimate portable vape is easy enough when you have a few options. Pen-style vape kits are great companions for your night out – they’re thin, lightweight, and compatible with Flex Pro pre-filled pods, giving you the best of both worlds. Alternatively, Flex Pro refillable pods can also be used in the flex Pro Bar and Lumina, opening the door to the intense flavours of VLTZ Bar Salts.
Flex Pro Refillable
The flex Pro Bar with refillable pod has been a huge hit with vapers since it launched in June this year. While it doesn’t match the quick and easy vape preference of pre-filled pods, it does allow vapers to choose from different types of e-liquids ranging from Red Label to VLTZ. For me, this vape, with its small and sleek design, isn’t just great for a night out, it’s perfect for daily life. The design is small compared to some other kits and fits snuggly in my pocket. Provided it's fully filled and recharged before I leave, I've never had a problem of it running out before I get home.
Lumina
The Lumina, like the Flex Pro Bar and Box, is also compatible with Flex Pro pre-filled pods. Alternatively, the LX pod that comes with this device is refillable and top-filled. This is a big bonus, especially if you need to quickly refill while you’re out and about. The LCD screen provides a visual battery indicator with four levels. This gives you a more accurate representation of your battery life. The Lumina kit works great with most e-liquids available, including Red Label and my favourite for intense flavours – VLTZ Bar Salts.
Long Lasting Vape Batteries for A Night Out
Sometimes it’s not just a single night out I need to prepare for, but a long weekend. Countless times, I’ve been sharing a room with friends, and arguing over who gets access to the plugs is all too common. For this reason, I always pack vapes with batteries that last – the bigger the battery, the better.
Tornado GTL
While the Tornado GTL doesn’t have the biggest battery in our range of vape kits, it easily lasts me all day and then some. Although this may vary depending on your vaping style or preferred coil ohm. It charges via USB-C and usually takes around an hour. This is ideal for that precious moment a socket becomes free in the hotel room. The device has interchangeable settings with three power output choices, making it perfect for use with any vape liquid. It’s worth noting that anything lower than 1.2ohm may impact battery life. I’d recommend pairing this with Red Label or VLTZ and a 1.2ohm coil to be sure the battery lasts longer.
Arc Impact
My final recommendation is the popular Arc Impact. This vape kit is slightly larger than the others I’ve recommended, but the battery more than makes up for it. The device houses a 2600mAh rechargeable battery, which is more than capable of lasting a good day or two. Another plus with this kit is the stylish leather grip on the side, adding a bit of comfort while vaping. If customisable settings and a long-lasting battery are your priorities, then this is the kit for you. It’s also available in black, green, grey, and purple, giving you more personalisation options.
So, if you’re planning your next night out (or weekend away), don’t forget to take a little time to consider which kit to take. Depending on where you are, you might be closer to a Totally Wicked store than you think. Remember that while vaping isn't by law banned in pubs, clubs, and bars, it’s best to check first before puffing on your favourite vape liquid. If you’re sitting outside a bar, be mindful of others and any pedestrians passing by. Second-hand vaping isn't thought to be harmful, but some people really hate the smell[ii].
