Totally Wicked is delighted to announce that we will continue as Blackburn Rovers front of shirt sponsor for the 2023/24 season. The partnership is now entering its sixth season and marks the third season of Totally Wicked as the front of shirt sponsor. As Rovers push for promotion, Totally Wicked will continue to provide unwavering support for the Blue and Whites.
Shared Values Within Blackburn
Blackburn Rovers are just a stone's throw away from Totally Wicked Headquarters in Blackburn, but it's more than locality that we share. We also share a deep-rooted sense of pride for the local community. Beyond this, both have strong core values for doing the right thing, from Rovers' community trust to Totally Wicked's mission to support as many smokers as possible quit their habit. This shared responsibility extends to a strong focus on sustainability.
Blackburn Rovers is taking significant steps to reduce its carbon footprint with progressive initiatives implemented throughout the stadium. Similarly, Totally Wicked has made substantial investments in a nationwide recycling scheme to help mitigate the environmental impact of disposable vapes. Therefore, it is fitting that the Rovers’ shirts, proudly displaying the Totally Wicked logo, are made from recycled materials.
The new home shirt maintains the prestigious styling which is synonymous with Rovers. The subtle detailing across the neckline and sleeves brings the kit to life, with the Totally Wicked logo suitably tying in with the Blue and White design... Some things change but Blue and White remains. We eagerly await the reveals of the away and third kit in the coming weeks. The players will also be looking Totally Wicked when putting the graft in on the training ground. The new training wear is a real touch of class and Totally Wicked sits in pride of place on there.
A Lot to Look Forward to at Ewood Park This Season
Rovers are making significant strides on the pitch as well. With three marquee signings already this summer, they are clearly demonstrating their determination to secure promotion. Despite promising starts in the last two seasons, Rovers narrowly fell short of securing playoff spots on both occasions. However, there is a palpable sense of anticipation among the devoted Blue and White supporters that this will be the season when Rovers regain their Premier League status.
Niall Ennis, Sondre Tronstad and Arnor Sigurdsson all signed for Rovers in June. Ennis, a new addition to the team and an accomplished striker, had an impressive season with Plymouth, scoring 12 goals in Argyle’s successful campaign for promotion. We expect to see the front man chip in with more important goals in East Lancashire.
Norwegian midfielder, Tronstad, brings experience from both the Europa League and international competitions. Undoubtedly, he will play a pivotal role in Rovers’ season, bolstering the midfield.
Sigurdsson could be the pick of the bunch. Signing from CSKA Moscow, he possesses extensive experience at the highest level, having made numerous appearances in the Champions League. The attacking midfielder is generating a great deal of excitement among Rovers fans, and we eagerly await his performances at Ewood Park.
Totally Supporting Blackburn Rovers
Throughout Totally Wicked network, there are countless die-hard Blue & Whites fans, and none more so than Totally Wicked Chairman and life-long Rovers supporter, Fraser Cropper, who said:
“As a fan of Blackburn Rovers since childhood, I am thrilled to see our partnership entering its fifth year.
Totally Wicked and Blackburn Rovers share a rich history, and we are proud to have our name on the front of the team’s shirts once again. It is a testament to our commitment to the club and our local community.”
Totally Wicked CEO, Marcus Saxton, also expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating,
“We are deeply honoured to continue this journey together as front-of-shirt sponsors for the second consecutive full season.
We firmly believe in the transformative power of sports to unite communities and drive positive change. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to investing in the local area and supporting the club’s aspirations.
We look forward to celebrating many more successes together on and off the pitch.”
A Perfect Partnership
Blackburn Rovers Football Club reciprocates the sentiments of Totally Wicked, recognising the unwavering support and dedication the company has shown throughout the years. Rovers CEO, Steve Waggott said:
"We're delighted to extend our partnership with Totally Wicked into a sixth season.
"It's great that two of the town's biggest brands will once again sit side-by-side each other during the upcoming campaign.
"It is vitally important to have strong links with the local business community and this latest agreement enhances that relationship even further.
"We're extremely grateful to Fraser Cropper and his team for their continued commitment and support, and we look forward to working closely with them again over the next 12 months."
The partnership has not only strengthened the bond between the club and its community, but also provided valuable resources for the team’s development and growth. As the upcoming season approaches, Totally Wicked and Blackburn Rovers Football Club are looking forward to embarking on another chapter in their successful partnership.
