Colonel Andy Reid is the armed forces brand ambassador for Totally Wicked. Since losing three of his limbs whilst serving in Afghanistan, Andy has dedicated his life to overcoming adversity and inspiring others. By telling his incredible story, Andy has helped to inspire thousands of people, and today he was at the Blackburn Rovers FC Training Ground to talk to the players and training staff.
Totally Wicked became an official club partner of Blackburn Rovers FC back in September, thanks to Fraser Cropper, Totally Wicked managing director’s life-long love of the club. Totally Wicked wanted to show Rovers the true meaning of the business, the brand and what it stands for. What better way to do so than to introduce the club to our brand ambassador, Andy Reid?
Andy has given motivational speeches in a range of settings ranging from small intimate surroundings to large corporate events. Andy was therefore unphased by the likes of Bradley Dack, Jack Rodwell and Tony Mowbray sitting in the audience at the Rovers training ground today.
Andy told his story to the whole team; how much he’d overcome, how he’d managed to do so and his plans for the future. The tear-jerking talk was met by rapturous applause from the players who were awe-struck by Andy’s incredible journey.
With 11 games left in the Championship season, Totally Wicked is fully behind Rovers and we hope to see a strong finish to the season. It’s great to see Totally Wicked’s partners coming together, and we look forward to continuing to work closely with Andy Reid, Blackburn Rovers and St Helens.
